Description:

Expert level developer required in the Sapiens eMerge software. The candidate must be able to design, develop, test, and implement solutions using Sapiens eMerge running in a mainframe environment.

The Senior Sapiens eMerge developer analyzes, designs, codes, debugs, and documents eMerge-based solutions, including interface components, graphical screens, reports and data objects/services. Participate in the all phases of the software development cycle. The incumbent is responsible for software engineering for new and existing products and works with the application support and project teams to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements. Working as a part of the project team, this individual will:

Plan: Assist solution architects in translating requirements into technical specifications and data models for all assigned work efforts.

Implement: Design, code, test, and implement complex eMerge-based solutions; develop appropriate documentation according to established standards for all assigned projects and work efforts.

Track: Periodically meet with the project team to the report on the status of work efforts and assess project requirements and the impact of change requests on project delivery timeline for all assigned projects.

Skills Required:

Experience developing Sapiens eMerge in the 3270 IBM environment

Experience developing Sapiens forms and screen navigation

Experience developing Sapiens eMerge as a subsystem of a COBOL CICS application

Experience with Sapiens applications using DB2 and I/O modules as the application datasource

Experience with Context in the Sapiens runtime environment

Experience debugging eMerge code

Experience developing Sapiens eMerge at V4.5 version and release 2.0 or greater
