Job description:

This position will support accounting compliance requirements under GAAP SOX and all other authoritative guidance published by FASB, AICPA, SEC and the PCAOB

Requirements include:

Working knowledge of government contractor accounting/finance activities.

Familiar with requirements of FAR and CAS

Experience working for government contractor in a CAS covered environment

Experience working in systems, working knowledge of accounting systems and the interrelationships of the GL with sub ledgers and other modules, including job cost

Experienced with account analysis and resolving inaccuracies and issues

Work with varying levels of employees, both inside and outside the accounting dept

Provide hands on support for projects – perform reconcilements, resolve issues, execute corrections/adjustments

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 6 years total related work experience.

Must be a team player who is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to work in a dynamic environment.

Good organization, communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership and customer service skills are required.

MS Office, Outlook, Word, Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
