Overview

This is a full-time job opportunity (40 hours) based in Rotterdam (NL), Düsseldorf (DE) or in London (UK), with a hybrid model of office and home working.

As a Senior Partner Account Manager you will be the primary point of contact for our partners, providing strategic support, growing revenue opportunities, and serving as the voice of the partner internally. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Build and strengthen deep relationships with our partners, including stakeholders on all levels;
  • Take ownership of key partner activities, such as onboarding, account management & expansion, project management & coordination, sales enablement and business reviews;
  • Collaborate with a US-based go-to-market team and work cross-functionally with a growing international team from Europe to the US;
  • Directly influence VONQ’s partner support strategy;
  • Develop expertise in driving user adoption and change management.

What you will do (details)

In your first 90 days, you will:

  • Onboard
  • Develop expertise in VONQ’s products and value propositions
  • Step into live partner environments to support ongoing programs with senior market leaders
  • Come up to speed on VONQ’s partner strategy
  • Refine VONQ’s partner support strategy, using an adoption-maximization model
  • Collaborate with the US-based go-to-market (GTM) team to develop a more robust partner acquisition strategy

In your first 6 months, you will:

  • Expand the number of partners VONQ can support
  • Take over VONQ’s partner support strategy for one or more partners
  • Strengthen your personal relationships with those partners
  • Tactically take ownership of key partner-focused activities, including:
    • onboarding;
    • account management & expansion;
    • project management & coordination (especially related to user adoption campaigns & partner job board requests);
    • partner training / sales enablement;
    • materials development;
    • standing business reviews;
    • Work cross-functionally to build out a growing team in the US
       
  • Develop cross-cultural relationships and learn to work internationally with VONQ’s European team
  • Take ownership of critical partner-related metrics & reporting
  • Work with marketing to formalize VONQ’s partner support strategy based on real-world experience and data 
  • Continue to collaborate with the GTM team on partner acquisition strategy

In your first 1 year, you will:

  • Continue to do what you’ve been doing so far!
  • Take a more active role in shaping VONQ’s partnership strategy
  • Help build a team to manage individual partner accounts
  • Refine and/or develop an expertise in driving user adoption and change management

Qualifications

What it will take

Our growth curve is accelerating, so a do-what-it-takes attitude is a must. This being said, to achieve your goals, we believe you ideally should come ready with:

  • (Close to) native English speaking and writing abilities, German language skills are a big plus;
  • Verifiable customer communication skills;
  • At least 4 years of experience in a partner (or at least customer) account management role; 
  • Experience in the talent acquisition software industry — or the willingness to attack a new learning curve quickly;
  • Comfort interfacing with executives;
  • Ideally: a network in the talent acquisition software industry;
  • Lateral, cross-functional thinking skills;
  • Comfort with rapid change;
  • Comfort standing up departmental infrastructure, including processes and technologies
