As Customer Support & Quality Analyst, you'll determine the success behind our core products: VONQ’s Job Marketing Platform and VONQ’s Hiring API. Both are data-driven products with a recommendation engine that are advising recruiters how they should reach their target audience online. 

VONQ’s Job Marketing Platform is used daily by an ever-growing client base globally, and VONQ’s Hiring API is used by many ATS (applicant tracking system) partners world-wide to offer a first-class job marketing experience right from within the ATS.

Your challenge is to help the Product & Engineering team by supporting our customers and partners with using/integrating these products, and by continuously improving the quality of these products by testing them thoroughly, so our customers and partners get a world-class job marketing experience!

Your day-to-day job in a nutshell

  • As part of the support team, keep track of ongoing support requests and proactively reach out to customers

  • Keep an eye on the health of existing integrations and proactively reach out to customers and developers in case of errors

  • In close collaboration with marketing, improve our knowledge base and documentation to improve the ‘first time right’ and self-service of our platform

  • Work together with the development teams to improve the documentation, expand the possible integration scenarios and build tooling

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

  • Create well-structured test plans and test cases

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs

  • Since you get a lot of freedom for new initiatives, you turn good ideas into actions. For example, improving or implementing things you find important or interesting on the spot!

You’ll be part of an international & experienced Product & Engineering department consisting of Product Owners, Customer Support, UX, Backend and Frontend Developers, Data and DevOps Engineers. You’ll report directly to the CPO, with a dotted line to the VP Engineering.

This describes the ideal candidate, but above all we value people that are eager to grow, autonomous, work together, and love to get things done! Furthermore, we think you need:

  • Supportive mindset, desire to help customers and proactive in communication 

  • You love to help non-technical customers and are good at making technical concepts understandable

  • Technical skills to deal with Python/PHP, HTML, JS code snippets, JSON, XML

  • 1+ year working experience in a technical support role

  • Excellent English and Dutch communication skills

  • A passion for taking care of customers & technology

Bonus points:

  • Experience in supporting API users

  • PHP or Python Programming skills

  • German language skills
