We, an international software scale-up in the recruitment tech industry, are looking for a:

Head of Marketing (m/w/d)

to start as soon as possible. You may work remotely or from one of our offices in Rotterdam or Düsseldorf.

Job Description

You will be responsible for optimising all the key aspects of the growth cycle as well as for leading and scaling the marketing strategy particularly using Account Based Marketing (ABM), targeting enterprise customers to penetrate, raise profile and convert. 

Working across the Netherlands and Germany, reporting directly into the CEO, you will work closely with business development and account management stakeholders to lead logo and CLTV growth and with the Product Teams to support and drive Up- & Cross Sell.

We are looking for someone to own and lead the marketing function from end-to-end, including owning corporate marketing, lead generation, sales enablement and overseeing communications and full product marketing.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute marketing and communications plans for products and services with clearly defined value propositions

  • Develop and create campaigns, initiatives and content to engage with prospects and clients through both online and offline channels.

  • Develop and manage the company's digital marketing strategy to provide qualified leads.

  • Develop and manage an eager team of 4 people

  • Working closely with the Sales Team, meet the shared growth objectives

  • Working closely with Product Team, define marketing strategies for new and existing products

  • Manage industry online events including the selection, registration, logistics and measurement of ROI.

  • Create a ROI driven marketing engine in which Customer Acquisition Costs and Customer Lifetime Value are closely tracked, along with the underlying Marketing Metrics.


How you fit into the VONQ family

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience launching and growing successful B2B services in a fast-paced technology environment. This role is an individual contributor requiring strategic development along with eagerness to roll up your sleeves and execute.

  • A marketing leader who, as part of team, has contributed to significant revenue growth and taken new products / propositions into a market through direct and indirect sales channels

  • Proven track record in similar marketing role with at least 3 years in  B2B SaaS

  • Well-rounded marketer having covered most areas in marketing – namely the content, engagement, product marketing, marketing automation, web and creative, communication, PR, regional localisation, acquisition, paid and growth. 

  • Demonstrable and extensive experience of Account Based Marketing (ABM) ideally within B2B SaaS and sold at large scale into enterprise clients

  • Strong experience with Analytics (Google Analytics), CMS, CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation Software Pardot

  • Significant experience in Product Marketing is essential and has been through initial phases of growth with a new product before

  • Strong leadership, management and communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders and perform in board conversations

  • Comfortable at working in a fast-paced and hyper-growth environment
