Media Partnerships Director

Take our media partnerships (team) to a next level
You will manage a small team that is managing over 1000 partner relationships with job advertisement channels (e.g. Indeed, JobRapido, LinkedIn, etc.).
The team is responsible for:
Expanding our portfolio of channels. Currently, we have 2100 channels and we are looking to grow this portfolio to almost 3000 in 2021.
Negotiating the best possible margins. The better our margins, the more profitable VONQ is.
Improve SLA’s with our suppliers to speed up the campaign delivery
Making sure that our suppliers are represented correctly in our software and that customers know exactly what they are buying
As a Media Partnerships Director you will mainly focus on:
Managing and support your team to make them successful
Build and execute a plan to make the team more scalable by working closely with operations, product & engineering, and finance.
Make a few top tier partnerships successful (e.g. Indeed) and support new partnerships in new regions
Execute on company strategic initiatives such as multiposting, programmatic advertising, subscriptions, and job board automation
Analyze usage, revenue, margins, and performance and make sure the results stay up to date in clear reports
Develop and roll out a plan to increase partner engagement
Deliver valuable input on portfolio pricing strategy together with Finance and Sales

Our ideal candidate has a self-starting attitude, is analytical, and good with numbers! Furthermore, we think you should have:
Good communication skills in both Dutch and English, German or French is a bonus
Experience with building a marketplace
A strategic mindset and ability to convert this into operational excellence
A proven track record of building and improving a team
Project Management experience with good Excel skills
At least 5 years of proven account management
Tech Savvy (ideally know something about APIs and XMLs)
A passion for deal-making and online media/digital/technology
A Masters Degree
You are comfortable to work with targets
