Job Description

Your role as Global Talent Acquisition Director;
In this remote working position you will report directly to the Global VP of Talent Acquisition and lead a team of 3 direct reports and a span of control of 25 individuals spread across the globe.
You are responsible for shaping Getinge's recruitment future by attracting and securing the best talent in the medical device industry. This includes crafting and implementing a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy, fostering a culture of recruitment excellence and strategically partnering with business leaders and HR Business Partners to identify and attract top talent.
Your leadership and mentorship will be crucial in empowering your team of global recruiters to achieve exceptional results, while you drive continuous improvement by monitoring and refining processes to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned manager with a proven track record in international talent acquisition. Your background should ideally span both commercial- and corporate recruitment, demonstrating your ability to attract top talent across diverse industries and different positions. Leading and managing an international team is key, as you'll be responsible for maintaining a collaborative and high-performing environment.
To excel in this role, you have extensive experience in global recruitment, data-driven decision-making and a strong tech savvy mindset are crucial, as you'll leverage technology and analytics to optimize the entire recruitment process. Additionally, you have a natural curiosity and interest in staying at the forefront of the latest recruitment technology and AI tools.

Each year, Getinge recruits roughly 1,000 new employees, representing approximately 10% of our entire workforce. To streamline this recruitment process, we use the SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System (ATS). While experience with this specific platform is beneficial, it's not mandatory.
This role offers a unique blend of strategic and hands-on experience. As a leader, you'll be responsible for shaping our global talent acquisition strategy while also managing senior-level vacancies. While the position allows for remote work, occasional travel is necessary.
Prior experience in the medical device industry is a plus, but not a requirement. What truly matters is your passion for building high-performing teams and your expertise in driving successful talent acquisition initiatives.

What you need to do: 
•    Lead, manage and coach the global Talent Acquisition team;
•    Develop and execute a sustainable talent acquisition strategy;
•    Define and contribute to the definition of state of the art and aligned recruitment tools and processes;
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, HR BPs, your TA team and candidates; 
•    Drive the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices that support and ensure positive candidate experience; 
•    Manage the end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing and screening of candidates, conducting interviews, (assessment) and reference checks for senior level/executive roles; 
•    Track recruitment metrics and KPIs relating to time to hire, cost per hire, diversity, candidate experience and other data points to improve the recruitment process and candidate experience;
•    Use metrics to identify areas of improvement and continuously review the hiring process;
•    Drive knowledge exchange, cross-functional synergies and project management throughout the TA organization; 
•    Manage and provide mentorship to the members of the recruitment team;
•    Advise, train and support business leaders and HR BPs on sourcing strategies and recruitment process; 
•    Guide business leaders on hiring prioritization, support alignment between TA capacity and hiring needs;
•    Identifying and partnering with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met;
•    Develop, implement and maintain functional efficiencies in the SuccessFactors recruitment platform and lead new module applications and system rollouts providing education to clients, in partnership with the Global SuccessFactors support and HRIS team;
•    Ensure adoption and proper usage of company’s assessment tool.

Qualifications

What you need to bring:
•    10+ years of experience in international recruitment (globally preferred);
•    Management experience in a global talent acquisition position;
•    Experience in full-cycle recruitment and sourcing paired with an understanding of all selection methods;
•    Commercial- and corporate recruitment experience;
•    Team player, able to influence, at ease with conceptual work;
•    Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably SuccessFactors);
•    Proficient in the use of social media channels and job boards;
•    IT savvy, data driven and analytically strong;
•    Medical Device experience is a plus;
•    Experience in implementing new tools, improving processes and project management;
•    Knowledgeable of the latest recruitment tools and newest recruitment technology;
•    Excellent English communication skills.
