Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced engineer to provide outstanding technical support to our customers globally while building the capabilities of our engineering team. You will have the opportunity to set up best practice initiatives for planning + executing projects to ensure successful commissioning while still being a hands-on engineer.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Developing system designs and documentation using both proprietary Veridapt and 3rd party hardware and software.
  • Participating in commissioning activities including in the Factory (FAT), on-site (SAT) and remotely. 
  • Testing the integration of new hardware including documenting system configurations.
  • Developing the system architecture of Veridapt products by working with the customer. 
  • Playing the technical leadership role to coach and mentor the engineering team and build stronger engineering capability. 
  • Standardising the product offering and how projects are delivered.
  • Providing onsite and remote technical support to both internal and external stakeholders including the development and delivery of customer training, technical data analysis, etc
  • Assisting with the development of project costings and completing site audits.

Qualifications

We would love it if you have ;

  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Electronic Systems) with 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Experience in AutoCAD (experience in AutoCAD Electrical and Vault will be highly regarded).
  • A good understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to write clear, concise technical reports and documentation.
  • Experience with customers and building great relationships
  • Good investigation and troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software systems. 
  • Experience in collaborating effectively with remote teams.
  • A valid Australian driving license.
