Job Description

We are looking for someone to join us in a Team Leader role for our Electrical Manufacturing team based out of our Chatswood office/ warehouse.

Worked in IT, Computer or Mobile repairs? Take a step up and have the chance to become a team leader. We will provide all the training you need!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the workshop and team to ensure efficient operations during manufacturing and that relevant quality and safety processes are followed
  • Supporting the team by prioritising work assignments and resolving any challenges
  • Managing the movement and evaluation of defective items
  • Performing and coordinating test equipment calibration
  • Managing the completion of customer equipment repairs and warranty claims
  • Performing and coordinating the quality control inspection of incoming goods with outcomes recorded in our quality management system
  • Championing a safe and collaborative team environment that fosters the company values and mission, and promotes our continuous improvement culture
  • Capturing product manufacturing run times to improve sprint workload accuracy

Qualifications

You have:

  • Discovered that you have a rare talent for motivating people - and are excited about the opportunity to lead a small impactful team.
  • Experience in equipment repair and small volume manufacturing
  • Good attention to detail- you love to double check
  • An understanding of health and safety 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, IPC standards, ISO9001 and their application within a manufacturing environment
  • Have a Certificate IV in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
