Position: Pega BPM Sr. Developer

Location: New York City, NY

Position Type: Possible 3 Month CTH or Long term contract

Job description: 

Main Function:

·         They will be integral to the development of a new client management platform for the Client Lifecycle program which will automate a significant number of processes and allow Barclays to become the Go-To bank for client management.

·         The role will part of a development team tasked with creating the new platform.

·         This individual will be responsible for designing, architecting, assisting development and developing BPM applications using Pega PRPC.

·         The applications are high-profile and in early stages. 

Responsibilities:

·        
Architect, design and develop BPM applications

·         Fully understand business needs and requirements

·         Lead the effort in gathering and understanding requirements and use cases

·         Perform solution architecture and design within Pega PRPC

·         Drive creation and integration of web services/databases/legacy systems

·         Design class structure, data models and application frameworks

·         Lead software development activities

·         Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including reviewing alert logs

·         Enforce best practices in Pega architecture / design / coding and monitor guardrails

·         Interface with business team to assist in conducting business analysis and requirements gathering.
