We are currently looking for Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer for our Qatar operations

We are seeking an experienced Azure consultant to support our cloud infrastructure, application services, API management, and DevOps strategy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure environments with a strong focus on observability, security postures, service lifecycle management (SLM), Azure DevOps, and automation. Experience with Grafana, Dynatrace, Azure Tags, and Azure Functions is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Azure Infrastructure & Landing Zone: Design, deploy, and optimize Azure infrastructure aligned with best practices for scalability, security, and compliance.

• Azure Application Services & API Management: Implement, manage, and secure Azure Application Service, Azure Functions, and API Management solutions.

• Landing Zone Observability: Enhance monitoring, logging, and diagnostics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Application Insights.

• KQL (Kusto Query Language): Develop KQL queries for log analytics and troubleshooting across Azure environments.

• Security Postures & Governance: Strengthen cloud security, enforce compliance, and implement Azure Security Center recommendations.

• Service Lifecycle Management (SLM): Streamline service onboarding, change management, and operational readiness.

• Azure Tags & Governance: Define and implement Azure Tagging strategies for resource management, cost allocation, and compliance tracking.

• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service): Design, deploy, and optimize AKS clusters, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

• Azure DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployments and improve software delivery processes.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and improve Azure environments using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates, Ansible, Azure Private Endpoints,

Azure ExpressRoute/ VPN, Azure Virtual Desktop

• Grafana & Dynatrace Integration: Configure and manage Grafana dashboards and Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, ensuring deep observability across cloud workloads.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking

• Experience with Azure API Management, App Services, Azure Functions, and AKS

• Proficiency in KQL for log analytics and monitoring

• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Application Insights

• Strong knowledge of Azure Tags for governance and cost optimization

• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and Azure Policy

• Expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline automation,

• Git, and YAML-based workflows

• Strong experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates for infrastructure as code

• Familiarity with SLM frameworks and operational governance

Preferred Qualifications

Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or equivalent)

Knowledge of FinOps and cost optimization in Azure

Hands-on experience integrating Grafana and Dynatrace for cloud observability.

Bonus if M365 experience.
