Job Description

We are currently looking Finastra – Fusion Trade innovation Application Developer for our UAE operations with the following terms & conditions.

Experience Required

5+ years hands-on experience with Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Fusion Trade Innovation application setup and configuration

• Proven expertise in interface development and system integration

Experience with:

• Java / J2EE (preferred for customization)

• Web services (SOAP / REST)

• XML, XSLT, messaging frameworks

• Database querying (Oracle / SQL)

• Knowledge of deployment, environment configuration, and release processes

• Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning

Functional Knowledge

• Solid understanding of Trade Finance domain, including:

o Letters of Credit (LC)

o Guarantees / Standby LCs

o Documentary Collections

o Supply Chain Finance basics

• Understanding of trade lifecycle, compliance checks, and transaction processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation

• Experience working in banking or financial services environments preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Trade Finance implementation projects

• Exposure to banking integration architecture

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Detail-oriented with structured documentation practices Terms and conditions

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and implement Fusion Trade Innovation modules based on business requirements

• Perform end-to-end application setup including parameters, workflows, and product configuration

• Design and develop interfaces between FTI and external/internal banking systems

• Customize application components, screens, and reports where required

• Support integration using APIs, messaging, and file-based interfaces

• Work closely with Trade Finance business users to translate functional needs into technical solutions

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support

• Participate in upgrades, patches, and environment management

• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and deployment artifacts

• Ensure compliance with banking, security, and audit standards
