VAM Systems is currently looking for Application Deployment & BAU Engineer – Production Support for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Requirements:

• 5+ years in application deployment and support in a production environment for banks
• Hands-on experience in Apache and Jboss setup and administration
• Hands-on experience in working on Linux OS
• Understanding of SSL certificates and installation process
• Experience working with change management processes and issue resolution.
• Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills, especially across vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the handover of deployment processes, scripts, and environment configurations from core services vendor.
• Manage deployments to Pre-Production and Production environments, adhering to change controls.
• Manage daily Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations, including Beginning-of-Day (BOD) and End-of Day (EOD) batch processes, job monitoring, and routine system health checks.
• Maintain and enhance deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring environment readiness and minimizing manual intervention.
• Support ongoing incident resolution, patch management, and performance tuning to ensure system stability and operational continuity.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Infrastructure, and Application Development teams to ensure seamless environment transitions and reliable application lifecycle management.
• Document deployment procedures, environment configurations, and operational runbooks to support consistent and auditable execution of changes.

The ideal candidate must possess strong technical deployment skills, hands-on experience with release and environment management, and a proactive attitude toward operational excellence in a high availability, mission-critical setup.
