Job Description
We are currently looking IT Project Coordinator for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking, or a related field
• Experience in project coordination or management in the banking or financial services industry
• Knowledge of banking software systems or IT project management is a plus
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and managing banking-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Coordination of Resources: Work with internal teams and external vendors to allocate resources effectively and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.
• Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that the project remains within financial constraints.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact between the project team, department heads, senior management, and clients, providing regular updates on project status and issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all banking projects comply with industry regulations, including data protection laws, financial compliance, and risk management protocols.
• Process Optimization: Support the implementation of new banking systems, tools, or processes designed to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the project (e.g., regulatory changes, system vulnerabilities) and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, project plans, and status reports, and ensure compliance with internal banking procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet the quality standards set by the bank and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Training and Support: Assist in the training of staff and stakeholders on new systems or processes introduced through the project.
