VAM Systems is currently looking for Oracle BI Consultant for our Bahrain operations

with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill set required:

• Hands on experience in Oracle Data Integrator and Data warehousing
  projects.
  

  
  

• Experiencein developing, maintaining and supporting BI reports and dashboards
  in Oracle Applications area in R 12.1.3 (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO) for
  more than 7 years.
  

  
  

• Experience in deploying Oracle BI reports on smart mobile applications.
  

  
  

• Having comfortable knowledge in managing BI servers and database is an
  added advantage.
  

  
  

• Capable to troubleshoot and provide quality problem resolution.
  

  
  

• Working experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and Discoverer is preferable
  

  
  

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably IT).
  

  
  

• Ability to produce functional requirements for reports and dashboards.
  

  
  

• Experience in Change Management, Incident Management and Release Management is
  preferred.
  

  
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  

  
  

• Experience in Upgrades and Testing in R 12.1.3.
  

  
  

• Willing to work after working hours (normal timing Sunday to Thursday 7:00
  am – 3:00 pm), if required.

Deliverables

• Successful development and rollout of BI reports in Government Organizations.
  

  
  

• Experience in developing, maintaining and supporting BI reports and dashboards

• Resolved problems and issues in a timely manner.
  

  
  

• Implementation Plans.
  

• Project Status Reports.
  

  
  

• User manuals and training manuals.
  

  
  

• Technical manual for organization’s Developers as required.
  

  
  

• Required handover documentation.
  

Responsibilities

1. Maintain Data warehouse.
   

   
   

2. Develop new Oracle BI reports and dashboards.
   

   
   

3. Maintain load plans using ODI.
   

   
   

4. Maintain and support for BI reports.
   

   
   

5. Conduct training for the Oracle BI.
   

   
   

6. Prepare and manage BI rollout plans.
   

   
   

7. Implement/rollout Oracle BI in Government & GFOs organizations.
   

   
   

8. Implement/rollout BI Dashboards on smart mobile apps.
   

   
   

9. Assist ministry’ staff for trouble shooting or debugging.
   

   
   

10. Open and manage Service Requests (SR) with Oracle.
    

    
    

11. Conduct meetings with End User Management and staff to gather. the reporting
    requirements and resolve issues.
    

    
    

12. Liaise with Technical staff on database or other issues.
    

    
    

13. Prepare Training and User Manuals for Ministry’s staff as well as for end
    users.
    

    
    

14. Prepare necessary documentation and hand over knowledge to Ministry’s
    staff.
    

    
    

15. Preferably Maintain BI Server and clone and upgrade as necessary.

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one leading

Organization in Bahrain.
