looking for Team Leader -
Network and Communications for
our Qatar operations
with the following skill set and terms and conditions:



Skill

set required:




  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.




  • A
    proven track record of performance with technical responsibility and
    an in-depth understanding and mastery of network including but not
    limited to routing, VPN, Firewall, QOS, VOIP, F5, IT management and
    monitoring software solutions.




  • Manage
    the services provided by the Infrastructure team to ensure high
    quality of performance in implementations and networking in
    compliance with the IT guiding principles. Deliver projects within
    cost, time, scope & quality standards. Maintain the highest
    level of service availability within minimum service downtime.




  • Manage
    to test and evaluate unified communications, telephony and network
    systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.




  • Liaise
    with network support staff at branches globally in evaluating their
    existing network infrastructure and propose solutions to optimise
    their network infrastructure.




  • Experience
    with design, implementation, and migration of complex network and
    communications projects.




  • Routing
    and Switching experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS (Cisco 2900, 3900,
    ASR, 3750, 4500, 6500, Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k).




  • Firewall
    and load balancing implementation experience (F5,ACE, CSM, CSS, ASA,
    FWSM).




  • Solid
    understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols (BGP and OSPF).




  • Understanding
    of VLAN, SVI, STP, VDC, VPC.




  • Understanding
    of DNS and DHCP.




  • Ability
    to troubleshoot network and system connectivity issues.




  • Creative
    problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.




  • Must
    be able to work independently or as a contributing member to the
    team.




  • Interpersonal
    skills to interact with customers and team members.




  • MS
    Visio and Excel experience.




  • Ability
    to manage projects and drive them to completion.




  • Ability
    to multitask and prioritize workload.



Experience
& Certifications




  • Network/Firewall/Load-balancing
    migration experience.




  • 7+
    years practical experience in a network environment as a network
    engineer, architect, analyst or specialist.




  • Cisco
    certifications (eg. CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCSP, CCIE).




  • Microsoft
    Visio.



Terms
and conditions:






Joining
time frame: 2
weeks (maximum 4 weeks)






The
selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Qatar and shall be
deputed to one of the leading banks in Qatar

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
