VAMSystems is currently looking for SystemsAnalyst - Debit and Credit Cards forourQataroperations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Qualificationsand Experience:
Bachelor/Master’sdegree in IT, Computer Engineering or Financial studies with ITbackground
Minimum5-7 years working experience .
Shouldhave experience in TSYS prime 4.
Goodfunctional knowledge of debit/credit card applications and supportprocesses. Thorough working knowledge in any end to end debit/creditcard managements system (issuing, acquiring, settlement,reconciliation, EMV and other regulatory compliances)
Experiencein functional/technical leadership
Experiencein dealing and managing external vendors and business users
Self-motivatedand ability to work independently. Ability to sustain and perseverein pressurized environment
Abilityto demonstrate strategic thinking, problem/requirement analysis,planning and effective proposals for issue resolution or businesschange requirement
Strongpresentation and influencing skills. Good track record in deliveringend user support (relationship management) in past experiences
Knowledgeof relevant IT development tools and databases – C, C++, 4GL, SQL,Oracle, Informix etc
Responsibilities:
Provideefficient 1st level support to various debit/credit cardmanagement, authorization, settlement and reconciliation systems.
Takeownership of issues raised by users directly or via other channels.Ensure that these are responded to, and to resolve it or redirect itaccording to internal teams via escalation procedure.
Adviseother teams within IT on knowledge gathered from the investigationof an issue.
Collaboratewith other teams to ensure that issues are resolved and closed(within SLA) with proper problem analysis, fixing, testing andreleases of fixes
Providerequested statistics gathered from incident/change management systemfor refinement in problem/change management
Takecomplete ownership in tracking and resolvingincidents/issues/changes assigned.
Monitorthe service levels provided by vendors and internal service unitsfor maintenance work and to ensure that these are followed-up andtracked.
Tobe the point of contact for business users relating to servicesprovided by IT application support
Ensuretotal comfort level and relationship management with users througheffective communication, commitment management, technical valueadditions and leadership
Organizeperiodic review meetings with users and other stakeholders
Managevendors, users and other IT departments throughout the escalationcycle
Improvement:
Contributedirectly to developing strategies in improving quality of system
Participatein review of deliverables with other units and ensure qualitydeliverable of system
Preparemanagement report and analysis on end user satisfaction/feedback,service performance and system related issues.
Participatein initiatives for improving user satisfaction and service delivery
Participatein ITIL based service Management Processes
Detaileddocumentation of application systems, start/stop, backup/restore, DRsetup/switchover procedures, service processes and updating ofdocumentation
Termsand conditions:
Joiningtime frame: 2weeks (maximum 1 month).
Theselected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Qatar and shall bedeputed to one of the leading banks in Qatar.
