Job Description

You will lead the execution and performance of our customer marketing, supporting the Senior Manager in shaping the overarching "In-Life" roadmap. Your work ensures our customers are supported from day one through to long-term loyalty.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Journey Delivery: Implementing plans that protect customer trust and value across Email, Letter, SMS, and App.
  • Service & Regulatory Execution: Turning technical or legal requirements into "human" brand messages that are easy for customers to understand.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Leading the full rollout of marketing plans, from writing the initial brief to final reporting and optimisation.
  • Commercial Support: Using customer insights to find ways to reduce churn and maintain the health of our customer base.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring key metrics like open rates, digital adoption, and churn to ensure journeys remain healthy.
  • AI Integration: Contributing to evolving plans on how we use AI to accelerate progress and improve efficiencies.

As our new Marketing Manager, you are an organised problem solver who can translate complex briefs into simple, clear instructions. You are a collaborator who champions the customer at every turn and has a genuine interest in coaching and mentoring others to help them develop.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Solid experience in a Customer Marketing or Lifecycle role.
  • Strategic and executional mindset, with the ability to define strategy as well as deliver it.
  • Data literacy, specifically using insights and segmentation for personalised campaigns and robust Test & Learn programmes.
  • Compliance awareness, with experience working alongside Legal teams to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Briefing and prioritisation skills to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • AI curiosity, showing evidence of experimenting with AI to drive automation or improve marketing approaches.
  • Loyalty knowledge (engagement frameworks or loyalty programmes) is a significant plus.
