You’ll have a minimum of three years' experience as a Corporate Security Guard. Holding an up-to-date Front Line door supervision and CCTV SIA License, is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the safety of our premises and personnel. Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs is desired for efficient administrative tasks, enabling smooth communication and documentation within the team. Experience with IT systems for access control, site patrolling, and emergency responses is a definite advantage, as it streamlines security protocols and enhances response times in critical situations.

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets within a commercial environment.
The role combines duties within the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and physical patrols of the property.
The officer must monitor surveillance systems, manage access control, respond to incidents, and conduct regular patrols to deter and detect unauthorised activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery.
Monitor CCTV systems and other security technologies to identify and respond to any suspicious or unauthorised activities.
Monitor and respond to alarms, including fire, intrusion, and environmental alarms.
Maintain communication with on-site personnel, providing support and direction during incidents.
Liaise with emergency services and law enforcement when necessary.
Conduct routine checks to ensure all SOC equipment is functioning correctly.
Perform regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas, both on foot and by vehicle (if applicable).
Ensure that all access points, including doors and windows, are secure and in good condition.
Engage with employees and visitors, offering assistance and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Respond promptly to any security or safety incidents during patrols and take appropriate action.
Report any maintenance issues, such as broken lighting or hazards, that may impact security or safety.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies, including alarms, disturbances, and suspicious activity, in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct preliminary investigations into incidents, gather witness statements, and prepare incident reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols, and legal requirements.
Collaborate with the broader security team to address potential vulnerabilities and enhance security measures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Manager.
