Job Description

To that end, we are looking for exceptional talent that can help us build a culture of design meant to lead the company and achieve our ambitious goals.

We’re growing our Design team and looking for a talented Art Director to join our newly formed Brand Team. In this role, you will be empowered to take high-level creative direction and guide a skilled team toward unique visual solutions that are bold, vibrant and memorable. Further, you will be supported and encouraged to put your conceptual skills to work by creating and deploying assets that help define our new brand identity across both product and marketing. Where you can make an impact:

• Having mastered type, composition and page layouts; create epic, original designs that enforce our brand narrative and provide meaning to the viewer.

• Utilize your experience collaborating with illustrators, copywriters, motion, photographers, and designers to create unique concepts that feel connected to the core brand.

• Be a conceptual leader on the Brand Team, helping further develop and define our brand and product identities.

• Work collaboratively with MarComm, Product and within Design to develop a strong understanding of our user's needs and output visual solutions that add value.

• Drive projects from concept to completion, while staying flexible and able to shift focus as priorities move and fluctuate.

• As a part of the Design team, help contribute to building a design-led culture by evangelizing Design by way of thought partnership and leadership.

Qualifications

You are: 

Experienced - You’ve mastered the Designer role and have at least 2 to 3 years of time as an Art Director helping build amazing brand experiences. You have an amazing portfolio that demonstrates your hard work and personal brand.

Conceptual - You thrive when you're diverging on new ideas, finding new and innovative ways to communicate complex and abstract concepts visually with your audience.

Collaborative - You believe the best ideas come from working as a team and building off of each other's ideas to arrive at killer outcomes.

Bold - ‘Routine' is not in your vocabulary. You thrive when the team is stretching the boundaries of the brand system and design as a whole.

Passionate - Inspiration is like rocket fuel and you find it in the world around you. You love the unique challenge of creating something from nothing.

Customer Focused - You employ empathy (the actual trait, not the buzzword) to understand what the customer/user would need from a given design asset.

Entrepreneurial - You have a track record of identifying processes that balance creating art with business needs to arrive at amazing outcomes.

Communicative - 'You got this.’ You are comfortable sharing out ideas and concepts with team members and stakeholders at all levels, from Jr. Designer to Senior Leadership.
