Job Description:

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining an active flow of diverse candidates by utilizing innovative sourcing techniques including: advanced internet searches, cold calling, networking, database mining, referrals and other advanced recruitment techniques for current and future open positions. 

The primary responsibilities of this role, as Sourcing Specialist are to: 

• Source diverse talent pool leveraging use of network contacts, internet postings, database searches, referrals and niche job boards; 

• Partner closely with the recruiting team to support current and future staffing needs; 

• Identify prospective candidates for job openings to ensure job requirements and expectations are assessed against appropriate criteria and presents candidates to the recruiting team; 

• Make initial candidate contact with the emphasis on networking to develop candidate leads and to develop their interest level in company opportunities; 

• Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity; 

• Perform other recruitment activities as assigned. 

Your success will be driven by demonstration of the organization's values. More specifically related to this position, seeking candidates who possesses the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business or related field; 

• Strong interpersonal skills; 

• Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships; 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; 

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; 

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; 

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• At least 5 year of sourcing experience using internet networking tools, such as LinkedIn; 

• Understanding of recruiting principles and best practices including use of social networking sites and online recruiting tools; 

• Strong sourcing and networking skills; 

• At least 1 year of experience with Boolean Search Strings; 

• Demonstrated understanding of employment laws related to hiring. 

• Should have experience recruiting in the Agriculture industry.
