Location: Remote (LATAM) — Must be available to work US Central Standard Time (CST) hours

Contract Duration: Immediate start through December 31, 2024

About Us:

We are a leading company seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on innovative data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality Management: Design and implement data quality rule checks and alerts on data solutions.
Data Anomaly Resolution: Perform investigations and root cause analysis (RCA) on data anomalies to fix issues within data pipelines.
Data Modeling: Utilize knowledge of multidimensional data modeling to enhance data structures (preferred).
ETL Pipeline Development: Design and implement efficient data pipelines (ETLs) to integrate data from various sources into Indeed’s Data Warehouse.
Data Model Optimization: Design and implement data model changes in alignment with warehouse standards.
User Support: Provide documentation, training, and consulting services to data warehouse users.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience:
5+ years in a Data Engineering or Data Warehousing role.
Extensive experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, SNS, and Kinesis.
5+ years of experience creating data pipelines using cloud-based ETL tools like AWS Glue.
3+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, Kafka, Spark).
Extensive experience working with both NoSQL and SQL relational databases.
Expertise in workflow management and pipeline tools like Airflow.
5+ years of coding experience in Java or Python (Python preferred).
Education:
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or a Bachelor's Degree with equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of multidimensional data modeling.
