Part-time | Permanent | Yoobee Christchurch Campus
About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Campus Coordinator – Weekend Operations to support the smooth running of our campus during the delivery of our Master’s programmes.
Working Friday through Monday, you’ll be a key point of contact on campus, helping create a welcoming, safe and well-organised environment for students, lecturers and visitors. This hands-on role brings together student support, administration and campus operations.
You’ll help keep everything running smoothly, from student IDs and campus access to preparing teaching spaces, responding to enquiries and resolving day-to-day issues. You’ll also work closely with security and connect students with the right support when needed.
Reporting to the Campus Manager, you’ll work alongside our academic, student support and Yoobee International teams to deliver a positive weekend campus experience for our Master’s students.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors during weekend campus operations.
Ensuring classrooms, learning spaces and student amenities are prepared and ready for weekend teaching.
Supporting student administration, including student IDs, campus access and responding to general enquiries.
Troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues and escalating more complex matters to the appropriate teams.
Working closely with campus security to maintain a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment.
Supporting Yoobee International with student administration requirements, including passport and visa verification processes.
Maintaining accurate campus records and reporting while supporting facilities, Health & Safety and other operational requirements.

About you:
You’re someone who enjoys working in a busy, people-focused environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’re proactive, organised and approachable, with the ability to move comfortably between supporting students, managing administration and responding to day-to-day campus needs.
You’re confident using your initiative to work through issues as they arise, while recognising when additional support or input is needed. Most importantly, you understand the importance of creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, connected and well supported.
You’ll ideally bring:
Experience in front-of-house, customer service, student services, hospitality, campus operations or a similar service-focused environment.
Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and use initiative.
The ability to juggle different priorities and respond calmly when unexpected issues arise.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and other technology systems.
An understanding of Health & Safety and the importance of maintaining a safe environment.
Experience within tertiary education or student services would be valuable, but isn’t essential.
