Student Recruitment Manager
- Full-time
Company Description
Build relationships. Grow enrolments. Make your mark in Perth.
Acknowledge Education's Perth campus is growing quickly, and we're looking for an experienced Student Recruitment & Partnerships Manager to help us continue that momentum.
This isn't a traditional hard-sell sales role. We're looking for someone who knows that successful student recruitment starts with strong relationships, credibility and trust.
You'll work closely with education agents, prospective students and internal teams to grow our presence across Western Australia and support sustainable student enrolment growth. With a diverse student community, predominantly made up of international students, you'll play an important role in connecting students with the right study opportunities at Acknowledge Education.
If you're commercially minded, naturally good at building rapport and understand the WA education market, this could be a great next move.
About Acknowledge Education
Acknowledge Education is entering an exciting new chapter. With a refreshed leadership team and a renewed focus on innovation, growth and student success, we're building on our 139-year legacy to shape the future of higher education and VET in Australia.
We deliver programs across health & community services, social work, engineering design & construction, hospitality and the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), with campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide. Each year, we support more than 8,000 students to achieve their goals.
Our Perth campus is one of our fastest-growing campuses, creating an exciting opportunity to join a team with real momentum and contribute directly to its continued growth.
Job Description
Full-Time | Perth CBD | Hybrid – 1 day WFH
About the role
As our Student Recruitment & Partnerships Manager, you'll take ownership of student recruitment activity across the WA market.
While Manager is in the title, this is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct reports. Your success will come from getting out into the market, developing genuine relationships and turning those relationships into sustainable enrolment opportunities.
A key part of the role will be building and strengthening relationships with education agents across Western Australia, so an established agent network or strong connections within the international education sector would be highly valuable.
You'll also work closely with our Admissions, Marketing, Academic and campus teams to create a positive experience from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
What you'll be doing
- Build and strengthen relationships with education agents across WA
- Develop new agent and recruitment opportunities to support enrolment growth
- Maintain regular contact with existing partners and keep Acknowledge Education front of mind
- Engage prospective students and confidently communicate our courses and study opportunities
- Identify opportunities within the WA international education market
- Attend agent meetings, recruitment events, information sessions and industry events
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Admissions and campus teams to support recruitment campaigns and student conversion
- Monitor recruitment activity, market trends and enrolment performance
- Represent Acknowledge Education professionally and authentically in the market
Qualifications
What will make you successful
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven without being overly sales focused.
You're likely to be someone who can walk into a room, establish rapport quickly and build relationships that last. You're comfortable working towards enrolment targets, but your approach is consultative, credible and relationship led.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in student recruitment, international education, education partnerships or a similar relationship-led sales environment
- Strong knowledge of the WA education market
- Existing relationships with education agents in Perth and/or across WA would be highly regarded
- A track record of building relationships that deliver commercial or enrolment outcomes
- Confidence engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
- A proactive approach and confidence creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you
- The ability to work independently while remaining closely connected to the broader AE team
- Experience working with CRM or student recruitment systems
