Job Description
Permanent, Full-time| Ponsonby location
The Group Finance Manager is a hands-on role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, improving financial processes, and ensuring strong governance across a complex, multi-entity organisation.
Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and finance teams, you'll provide financial insights, coordinate audit and governance activities, and help build efficient, scalable ways of working that support informed business decisions and ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Group Performance: Prepare accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis to support informed business decisions across the Group.
- Financial Control, Reporting & Audit Readiness: Coordinate month-end reporting, consolidations, financial statements and audit activities while maintaining strong financial controls and documented processes.
- Company Secretarial & Entity Governance Support: Support company secretarial, board and governance activities by maintaining statutory records, coordinating board papers, and managing compliance obligations.
- Finance Governance, Risk & Business Partnering: Strengthen finance governance by maintaining policies, controls and compliance frameworks while partnering with stakeholders to improve financial processes and decision-making.
- Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements, system enhancements and integration initiatives by identifying efficiencies, simplifying workflows and supporting finance transformation projects.
Qualifications
We're looking for a CA/CPA-qualified (or equivalent) finance professional with strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and audit, who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes.
You'll bring strong commercial judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach, with exposure to governance, multi-entity organisations or regulated industries viewed favourably.
