Job Description

Inspire and support students through high-quality teaching and clinical supervision, delivering an engaging learning experience aligned with national curriculum standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging learning experiences through lectures, tutorials, practical classes, webinars, workshops, field excursions and clinical teaching using student-centred approaches.
  • Supervise student clinics, ensuring safe, professional practice by guiding clinical skills development and approving treatments and clinical documentation.
  • Support student success by creating a positive learning environment, providing regular feedback and assessing/moderating student work in line with College requirements.
  • Maintain professional expertise by staying current with academic, industry and clinical developments and incorporating contemporary practice into teaching.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in scholarly activities and recommending enhancements to programs and subjects based on feedback and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (postgraduate qualification highly regarded).
  • Current membership with a relevant professional association.
  • At least 5 years' industry experience with strong, up-to-date professional expertise.
  • Experience teaching and assessing at tertiary level, with the ability to engage diverse student cohorts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to professionalism, ethics, and student success.

Additional Information

  • Please note this is a sessional engagement, meaning the period of engagement is between 21/9/26 to 20/12/26
  • 2 sessions per week on Thursdays, paid at 5 hours each totaling 10 hours
  • This advert will expire on the 23/8/26
