As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a Placement Officer to join our supportive Perth team and play a key role in helping students take the next step in their educational journey.

Job Description

  • Perth CBD | Part-Time (30 hours per week across 4 days) | Hybrid Working Available

We're looking for an organised and people-focused Placement Officer to support students throughout their placement journey.

In this role, you'll coordinate placements, manage documentation, maintain accurate records and work closely with students, academic staff and industry partners to ensure placements run smoothly and successfully. The role supports the administration and coordination of Higher Education fieldwork placements and plays an important part in delivering a positive student experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and administer student placements from commencement to completion
  • Review and manage placement documentation and compliance requirements
  • Support students with placement-related enquiries and communications
  • Maintain accurate records within placement systems and databases
  • Liaise with academic staff, students and placement providers
  • Monitor placement progress and escalate issues where required
  • Support placement briefings, reporting and continuous improvement activities
  • Support reporting and other placement program activities as needed

Qualifications

About You

You'll be a highly organised administrator who enjoys building relationships and supporting students to achieve their goals.

Essential:

  • Experience in administration, education, customer service or a similar coordination role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • A collaborative and student-focused approach
  • Confidence using systems and databases
  • Commitment to compliance and quality standards

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience coordinating student placements
  • Knowledge of InPlace or similar placement management systems
  • Qualifications in Business, Administration or a related discipline
