Job Description

Permanent, Full-time & Hybrid Working

*Positions are available across our Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane campuses.

As an International Course Advisor, your primary responsibility is to support compliant international student recruitment and enrolment in accordance with the ESOS Act, National Code, and institutional policies and procedures. You will provide accurate, transparent, and ethical information to prospective international students, assess eligibility against published entry requirements, and guide applicants through the admissions and enrolment process in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.

This is a target-driven role with a competitive salary and commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clear and transparent information regarding course structure, tuition fees, entry requirements, and study pathways
  • Ensure all information provided to prospective students is consistent with approved marketing materials and institutional policies
  • Assessing applications against academic and English language entry criteria
  • Supporting admissions, offer issuance, and enrolment processes in line with compliance requirements
  • Maintaining accurate and auditable records in CRM and student management systems
  • Ensuring all activities align with ESOS, National Code, and institutional policies, escalating complex cases where required

Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication skills (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)
  • Have strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of ESOS Act and National Code requirements
  • Have knowledge of international admissions processes and English language entry standards
  • Be experienced in using CRM and student management systems
  • Accurately interpret and apply institutional policies and entry criteria
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical and compliant recruitment practices
  • Effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders

Other desirable qualities

  • Previous experience in international student recruitment, admissions, or a similar role
  • Ideally possess bilingual or multilingual capabilities
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse student cohorts
