Job Description

Acknowledge Education is seeking a passionate and committed Lecturer to join our growing Bachelor of Construction and Project Management program. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality course content, ensuring alignment with the Higher Education Standards Framework. We're looking for an educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning experiences for students.
You’ll be responsible for delivering inspiring lectures, coordinating with fellow academic staff, assessing student progress, and providing academic support where needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic higher education provider and help shape the next generation of professionals in the construction and project management industries.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver independent, engaging teaching to course students
- Coordinate and lead other staff as required, ensuring effective collaboration and excellence through teaching and learning meetings.
- Assess student learning outcomes through both formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, report to relevant parties and identify students who are at risk of failing, offering guidance and support.
- Participate in professional development, enhance your teaching practices and stay up to date on best practice.
- Report incidents of breaches in the student Code of Conduct or any health and safety concerns.
Qualifications
About You:
- Holds a Post-Graduate qualification in Construction Project Management or equivalent (AQF 8 or higher)
- Ability to report student conduct breaches and health and safety incidents
- Strong administrative skills and ability to adhere to directions
Desirable
- Completed or in progress PhD in Construction Project Management or equivalent
- Tertiary teaching experience with proven track record
- Ability to innovate teaching methods and use of technology for student engagement.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with experience teaching diverse student populations.
