Job Description

Reporting to the AIPC Provost, the Course Coordinator – Counselling is responsible for coordinating the delivery and assessment of counselling programs within AIPC’s higher education portfolio. 

This role offers a strong opportunity for an experienced counselling professional to step into an academic leadership pathway, bringing practical industry experience into higher education. Working closely with academic and professional teams, you will support high-quality teaching, student outcomes, and ongoing course improvement while gaining exposure to academic coordination, governance, and curriculum development. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinating the delivery and assessment of counselling programs to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes. 
  • Supporting and guiding academic staff, including workload coordination and teaching quality. 
  • Ensuring compliance with academic governance, accreditation and regulatory requirements. 
  • Contributing to course and subject development, curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Supporting student success through engagement, academic support processes and quality assurance activities. 
  • Participating in academic planning, reporting and institutional initiatives. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • A minimum qualification of a Master’s degree with relevant experience
  • Eligible for membership with a relevant professional association 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and academic administration experience 

Additional Information

  • Applicants must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police (AFP) Check.
  • Permanent, Full-Time. $110,000 base + super
