Job Description
Permanent, Full-time
The Course Adviser is responsible for contacting course enquirers, other potential students and graduates to discuss course options and enrolment procedures to maximise enrolments, establishing and maintaining positive relationships to encourage enrolment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to and following up prospective student enquiries within required timeframes, using the Trusted Adviser framework to guide conversations toward enrolment.
- Providing clear, accurate advice on course options, study requirements, and the enrolment process, building positive and supportive relationships with enquirers and applicants.
- Proactively managing and progressing applications, including contacting partially enrolled students to encourage and complete enrolment.
- Achieving KPIs and KPAs (e.g. contact rates and enrolment targets) while maintaining a high standard of customer (student) service.
- Maintaining accurate records and communications by updating databases, preparing correspondence, and contributing to reporting and administrative processes.
- Supporting broader Institute operations by liaising with internal teams, assisting with events, responding to student queries, and complying with policies, procedures, and training requirements.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a course adviser role or equivalent experience in other sales-based positions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in utilising CRM systems to manage external client relationships an advantage.
- Experience working in the education sector an advantage.
- WWCC employee or willingness to obtain
Integral to success in this position is your ability to work autonomously and implement planning, communication and organisational skills.
