Job Description
The Los Angeles National Sales Office of Univision Owned Television Stations is seeking to fill the position of Account Executive whose responsibilities would include growing revenue across multiple platforms through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions for clients. The Account Executive will be required to develop a solid understanding of our products and have consultative selling skills to develop solutions to meet client needs and close deals for all 19 Univision local television stations/markets, Affiliates, Radio and digital platforms. Revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, product knowledge and implementation success are key responsibilities.
Qualifications
Have strong existing relationships with high-profile agency and advertisers within the Los Angeles media community. Have prior experience selling major market television advertising and sponsorships to major accounts and advertising agencies, preferably in the Los Angeles advertising market achieved quantifiable success in over-achieving revenue goals, closing major sponsorships, non-RFP business, and digital sales enthusiastic approach to selling with prior success in selling specials and sports sponsorships. Aggressively sell, package, and close deals with core advertisers in assigned territory. Identify, develop and successfully execute strategies for penetrating key accounts and new business prospects. Generate new ad sales revenue with high-energy approach to selling television, digital, out of home platforms, non RFP and new business group deals. Take the lead in creating value and solving advertiser problems by packaging ideas and schedules that meet the needs of our core customers. Maintain an extremely high profile with the media communities by continuously meeting with Buyers, Planners, supervisors, direct advertisers and new business prospects. Provide continual input and assessments to sales management in order to drive ongoing improvements in sales strategy and execution. Effectively prospect, maintain an opportunity pipeline, and forecasting revenue Identify, coordinate and attend all appropriate marketing and advertising meetings and events Minimum 6 years in major market TV media sales in a TV media.
Eligibility Requirements:
Self-starter that can thrive in both a corporate and start-up environment, demonstrated ability to provided creative customer solutions and in turn create valuable revenue generation. Excellent knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis and strong ability to collaborate and coordinate within a Matrix sales structure. Must be willing to work on an as-needed basis some nights and/or weekends and have the ability to travel within the regional sales territory. Must have a valid driver’s license. Be a collaborative and positive member of the UCI sales team. Must possess excellent negotiation skills, integrity, discipline, a positive attitude. Exceptional communication and presentation skills required. Able to multi task, meet aggressive deadlines, and execute on agreed upon sales metrics. Microsoft office knowledge with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint, DDS and Matrix.
