In this role, you will be the driving force behind student internationalization—guiding undergraduates through every stage of their global journey, partnering with faculty to launch high-impact programs, and shaping the marketing strategies that inspire students to explore the world.
What You’ll Do:

- Advocate for Student Success: Serve as a primary point of contact for student needs, questions, and concerns across the entire study abroad lifecycle.
Program Operations, Budgeting & Campus Collaboration
- Campus Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with academic departments and faculty to design and deliver high-quality short-term programs.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Oversee program budgets in close collaboration with the NDG finance team.
- Process Excellence: Define program goals, standardize procedures, and ensure all student and program documentation remains accurate and up to date.
Marketing, Recruitment & Communications
- Drive Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for summer study abroad, including info sessions, digital campaigns, and campus events.
- Creative Outreach: Partner with the communications team to design compelling promotional materials, manage web content, write newsletters, and produce social media campaigns.
Strategy, Assessment & Analytics
- Measure Impact: Design, deploy, and analyze program assessments and survey reports to continuously evaluate and improve the student experience.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate program records and assist in preparing executive reports, proposals, and strategy presentations for NDG leadership.
Who You Are:
- Global Champion: Deeply passionate about cross-cultural exchange and expanding global opportunities for higher education students.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaborating across diverse academic departments, faculty, and administrative teams.
- Strategic & Creative Operator: Balanced approach to creative marketing (social media, events, web) alongside rigorous operational details (budgeting, tracking, risk management).
- Analytical Communicator: Skilled at synthesizing student feedback and data into actionable program improvements and clear executive reports.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of professional experience in higher education, international education, student advising, or related fields.
Core Qualifications & Skills
- Global Experience: Firsthand experience living, studying, or working outside the United States.
- Inclusive Leadership: Demonstrated track record of developing and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programming within an academic setting.
- Communication & Interpersonal Engagement: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and engage effectively across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Project Management & Administration: Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in standard office and study abroad industry technologies (e.g., Terra Dotta, Via TRM), collaborative platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams), and social media platforms for outreach.
- Collaborative Mindset: A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, high adaptability, and a commitment to mission-driven work.
