Job Description

As part of the overall University Operations, Events, and Safety Division, we work with our partners on and off campus to provide and foster a climate that allows individuals to live, study, work, and visit campus in a safe environment. Under the direction of the Notre Dame Police Department, Parking and Credentialing Services assists students, faculty, staff, guests, and visitors to provide an excellent Notre Dame experience.

The Business Analyst is the functional technology lead for the card management platform (CBord) and its integrations and offers functional support for the parking management system (T2) and access control system (Lenel).

The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst is to collaborate with and support functional campus partners who utilize the Irish1Card technology such as Campus Dining, retail, library, Residence Life, and Parking in addition to the tri-campus community and off-campus business through training and troubleshooting of card-related software and hardware. The Business Analyst will also have the opportunity to engage in an upcoming, high-impact, software implementation project.

Additionally, this position is responsible for:

  • Occasional coverage of the Parking and Credentialing Services customer service front desk including card request processing and issuance, phone calls and emails, and complaint resolution.
  • Serving in an on-call capacity to troubleshoot and resolve access control issues on a regular - yet flexible - rotation.
  • Supporting the larger Parking & Credentialing team via data tracking and analytics and reporting and auditing via internal system reporting, Tableau, and SQL code; website management; and overall process improvement recommendations.

Qualifications

Minimum: Associates degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Skills Required: Excellent customer service ability; strong computer skills; ability and interest in learning and using various software systems; strong written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving skills; SQL proficiency.

Additional Information

Salary: Up to 55K, commensurate with experience
