The ideal candidate for this position should have;

• 1+ year nursing experience
• BLS
• Maryland Board of Nursing RN license

Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals as a Registered Nurse II in our Medical-Surgical unit at 3 South in Baltimore, United States. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Respond promptly to patient calls and address their needs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
• Mentor and support new nurses and nursing students

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with wound care and medication administration
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and move medical equipment
