Transformation Coordinator

Job Description

Provides administrative and program management support services to the Center for Healthcare Transformation; includes coordinating events, training, and managing project administrative needs. Work is performed under limited supervision, reporting to the Director of the Center for Healthcare Transformation.

  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule meetings and/or events for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and organize catering for department events.
  • Enroll participants in systemwide trainings.
  • Provide support and project oversight for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Operate at Six Sigma yellow belt level and execute tasks accordingly.
  • Track agenda items and project milestones.
  • Perform internal and external research for key deliverables as assigned.
  • Document meeting minutes and organize library of resources and materials.
  • Monitor and manage objective performance trackers and dashboards.
  • Support the development of reports, training materials, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Provide onsite or virtual support during trainings and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in performance improvement.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in program coordination, preferably in a health care setting preferred.
  • Six Sigma yellow belt required, green belt preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Effective skill in project management.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, with ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities and take initiative.
  • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to analyze, compare, contrast, and validate work with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective skill managing multiple staff initiatives/priorities and meeting changing requirements and priorities to accomplish objectives.
  • Effective skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes.
  • Effective analytical, conceptual thinking, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective skill developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all levels of leadership, staff and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation:

Pay Range: 33.36-46.70
