Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Ambulatory Clinical Educator to join our team in Baltimore, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs for healthcare professionals, ensuring the continuous improvement of clinical skills and patient care.
- Design, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs tailored to various healthcare disciplines
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and develop targeted training initiatives
- Facilitate classroom, bedside, and simulation-based learning experiences
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure educational content aligns with current best practices and organizational goals
- Mentor and support clinical staff in their professional development
- Assess learner competencies and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and maintain educational materials, including e-learning modules and training manuals
- Stay current with emerging trends in healthcare education and clinical practice
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to clinical education
- Maintain accurate records of educational activities and participant progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (Master's preferred)
- Current nursing license or relevant clinical certification
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience preferably in an ambulatory setting
- Previous experience in education or training roles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems
- Curriculum development expertise
- Clinical assessment skills
- In-depth knowledge of current clinical practices and procedures
- Understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies
- Teaching certification or adult education credentials (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
