The Pulmonary Diagnostic Division of Respiratory Care Services at the University of Maryland Medical Center supports the Interventional Pulmonary Procedure and Pulmonary Diagnostic Testing Services. Both areas are on the cutting edge of technology utilizing best practices in Interventional Pulmonology, Critical Care, Lung Transplantation, and Conventional Pulmonary Diagnostic Service lines. Our procedural and testing areas allow for the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment modalities of patients with pulmonary disease states. Within the Pulmonary Diagnostic division, the Pulmonary Respiratory Therapist at UMMC will provide exceptional support to the department and care to a specific inpatient and outpatient population in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Legacy Approved Certificate Program in Respiratory Care
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care practitioner from the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care, RPFT or CPFT preferred in addition to RRT
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification, ACLS preferred
- Minimum three years of experience as an RRT
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic health record systems
- Excellent patient care documentation abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and advanced respiratory credentials
- Emergency response capabilities and ability to remain calm under pressure

Pay Range: $33.52-$56.82
