Job Description

General Summary

Functioning under general supervision the Supply & Equipment Tech I works to assist the patient care team by maintaining inventory levels of supplies needed to provide patient care on a daily basis.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. These are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.

  • Perform daily supply put-backs onto the shelves
  • Complete daily supply delivery to both Med Surge and Perioperative spaces.
  • Deliver clean linen as necessary.
  • Collect soiled linen.
  • Build linen carts for daily distribution.
  • Distribute PPE to Med Surge units.

 

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year of supply chain, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
