The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, performing appropriate procedures, and preparing rooms & equipment. The MA is also responsible for maintaining records, assisting with front-office activities as available, and interacting in a professional, friendly manner with patients & family members, physicians, staff, and visitors.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred. Must have either one (1) year of previous related experience or have graduated from an accredited program within the last 12 months. BLS is also required
