UHN Medical Solutions is a division of Altum Health focused on commercial revenue generation. It includes a number of revenue generating programs for UHN, including the UHN International Patient Program, Patient Ambassador Program, Virtual Urgent Care Services, and other private pay patient services. UHN MS supports UHN’s Vision of a Healthier World while generating ancillary revenue that is reinvested back into UHN for the benefit of OHIP patients and Ontario health system stakeholders.

Wage Range: $20 per hour
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Shifts: Days, Monday-Friday
Status: Temporary Full-time (16-week contract, May - August 2026)
Closing Date: March 20, 2026

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Business Analyst (Summer Practicum) will support a comprehensive needs assessment focused on strengthening marketing, business development, and patient‑facing engagement strategies. This role is ideal for a student with interests in health communication, digital experience, service design, and strategic planning.

The student will analyze current marketing and outreach practices, assess gaps, review competitor positioning, evaluate website content and structure, and contribute to developing a new concierge‑style patient support model. The role requires strong analytical skills, curiosity, and the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Master's program to be considered for this position.
