Position Summary:
The UHN Collaborative Centre for Clinical Research is dedicated to advancing clinical research and practice across UHN, and providing overarching guidance and support to the UHN Clinical Research enterprise. Reporting to the Collaborative Centre manager, the Clinical Research Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the success of the UHN Clinical Research Collaborative Centre. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining accurate clinical research study records within the institutional clinical trial management system (CTMS), and supporting teams with change management to new business systems and processes lead by the Collaborative Centre. This role will also provide pivotal support for Collaborative Centre special projects.
Duties:
Clinical Research Database Management
- Apply critical thinking and attention to detail to create, review, and maintain clinical research study records.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with programmatic, institutional, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with study teams to gather and validate study information
- Collaborate with study teams as needed to support consistent adoption and utilization of database requirements and tools
Special Projects
- Support key meetings to ensure key initiatives move forward
- Support key communications, updates to websites and resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health, science, or information systems-related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in clinical research or research administration preferred.
- Experience with UHN's CAPCR system preferred
- Proficiency in navigating various IT systems, and demonstrated 'early adopter' for new IT tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with databases and research management systems (e.g., OnCore, Edge, or similar platforms) is an asset.
