Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Status: Temporary Full-time (2 year contract)

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project/Lab Manager to oversee the scientifc operations of our MRI research laboratory, in particular the new 7T MRI scanner. The successful candidate will coordinate and support cutting-edge neuroimaging studies, manage lab resources and equipment, ensure compliance with safety and ethics protocols, and facilitate collaboration among researchers, students, and external partners. Strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills are essential. Prior experience in MRI research, data management, or laboratory administration is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Collaborates with lab leader to determine timelines and project schedule
  • Point of contact for the BRAIN-To lab (PI: Dr. Kamil Uludag)
  • Organizes scientific workshops, symposia and lectures
  • Website development and maintenance
  • Assists in grant writing and drafts reports
  • Lab budget management
  • Develops and projects resource requirements (i.e., capital, operating and staff requirements)
  • Analyzes information system requirements; develops new and modified systems
  • Conducts performance management responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Completion of a university degree in Neuroscience, Biomedicine, Natural Sciences or recognized equivalent is required
  • Experience with research environments, in particular with MRI 
  • Project planning, management and implementation experience is desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information/ideas effectively 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality work
  • Ability to use a team approach in solving problems
