Job Description

Reports to: Site Manager
Salary: $40.98 - $51.22 per hour (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Status: Permanent Full-time/Temporary Full-time
We are currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join TeamAltum! The successful candidate should expect complex and challenging cases. As an Altum Clinician you will empower and support clients through their recovery with the application of your hands-on knowledge, skills and abilities in the treatment of concussions/traumatic brain injuries, MSK injuries, chronic pain management, and mental health challenges, and return to work of injured workers. You will treat clients and enable them to reach their fully functional and work reintegration potential in collaboration with all stakeholders (client, treatment team and etc.) You will also perform cross-functional duties and cross-site duties, as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
- University Degree in respective profession as required by the respective college
- Certificate of Registration with respective College
- Two (2) years related experience in the treatment of clients/patients with work related injuries, MVA and/or experience in the third-party health care system
- Concussion/TBI and mental health experience preferred
- FAE and Return to work planning skills preferred
- WorkWell certification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrates appropriate and effective written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills
- Ability to provide group education sessions and lead small group learning
- Compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Exercise initiative and good judgment with ability to multi-task
