Job Description

The Senior Admissions Representative serves as a key representative of Unitek Learning, working directly and closely with our partnership employees to engage, recruit, interview, and guide prospective students throughout the admissions process.

The position provides a high-touch, white-glove experience by building personal relationships with employees, understanding their educational and career goals, and providing information about Unitek's programs, educational pathways, admissions requirements, and available resources.

The Senior Admissions Representative will develop a strong understanding of our partnership and the employees we serve to effectively represent Unitek and provide personalized support. The Representative maintains a visible presence at assigned locations and participates in table visits, meet-and-greets, lunch-and-learns, new employee orientations, information sessions, interviews, and other events.

The position provides personalized guidance and consistent follow-up to employees and prospective students from initial interest through enrollment and new student orientation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent Unitek Learning professionally and serve as a knowledgeable and accessible resource to our partnership employees and prospective students.
  • Work directly with our partnership employees to provide information about Unitek's educational programs, pathways, admissions requirements, and available resources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our partnership employees.
  • Understand employees' educational interests and career goals and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Recruit and engage prospective students through in-person meetings, phone calls, events, referrals, and other approved outreach activities.
  • Conduct admissions appointments and interviews in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process.
  • Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with prospective students.
  • Participate in table visits, meet-and-greets, lunch-and-learns, new employee orientations, information sessions, and other recruitment activities.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at assigned locations.
  • Support new student orientation and the transition from admissions to enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information and activity in CRM and admissions systems.
  • Track recruitment activity, interviews, applications, follow-up, and enrollment progress.
  • Participate in networking and other activities that support student recruitment and Unitek's visibility.

Building Relationships

  • Establish meaningful and professional relationships directly with our partnership employees and prospective students.
  • Build trust through personal interaction, responsiveness, and consistent follow-up.
  • Understand employees' educational interests, career goals, and individual needs.
  • Maintain a consistent and visible presence when engaging with our partnership employees.
  • Conduct in-person meetings whenever appropriate.
  • Participate in table visits, meet-and-greets, lunch-and-learns, orientations, and other employee engagement activities.
  • Follow up with employees after meetings, events, orientations, and interviews.
  • Maintain relationships with prospective students who may not be ready to enroll immediately.
  • Provide a consistent point of contact and exceptional customer service.

Interviews, Mentoring & Guidance

  • Conduct admissions interviews on-site, on campus, or at appropriate events.
  • Learn about each candidate's educational background, career interests, and goals.
  • Provide appropriate information about Unitek programs and educational pathways based on the candidate's goals.
  • Explain admissions requirements, application steps, timelines, and next steps.
  • Serve as a trusted resource as employees explore their educational and career options.
  • Connect students with appropriate Unitek resources and departments when additional support is needed.
  • Provide personalized guidance, encouragement, and consistent follow-up throughout the admissions process.
  • Help students navigate the transition from initial interest through application, admission, enrollment, and new student orientation.
  • Document interviews and candidate interactions accurately and maintain compliance with established admissions procedures.

Administrative

  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in CRM and admissions systems.
  • Document calls, meetings, interviews, events, referrals, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain an organized schedule of admissions appointments, interviews, orientations, events, and outreach activities.
  • Prepare materials for recruitment activities and employee engagement events.
  • Track candidate engagement, applications, interviews, and enrollment progress.
  • Provide regular activity and admissions updates to leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and candidate information.
  • Follow established admissions policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of admissions, recruiting, sales, customer service, higher education, healthcare, or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build meaningful relationships with our partnership employees and prospective students.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person meetings, presentations, and admissions interviews.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting proactive follow-up.
  • Strong commitment to providing a high-touch, white-glove student experience.
  • Ability to understand individual goals and communicate appropriate educational pathways and resources.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned geographic area.
