Job Description
We are looking for a Regional Director: Clinical Education Management to join our Unitek team. This Regional Director will support the VP of Clinical Education Management’s objectives, policies, strategies, initiatives and goals for the department.
Please note: You must reside in the Bay Area.
Job Overview:
- Build, develop and maintain region for new clinical facility educational agreements for robust student clinical education rotations.
- Identify new opportunities and clinical site acquisitions for the assigned Region.
- Expand target channels for new cohort expansions.
- Execute and acquire clinical affiliation agreements, assist in acquiring campus, program and region required board of nursing documents.
- Document for program support, newly acquired clinical facility education agreements on-boarding processes and maintain existing site compliance for on-boarding compliance as it pertains to the clinical affiliation agreement.
- Manage clinical facility customer service relationship building and retention campaigns.
- Provide consistent and clinical operational support to campus locations within the region.
- Manage, audit and report on region campus clinical ratio and trackers as they align to existing cohort support and region growth.
- Communicate regularly to PD/APD’s and Assistant Deans of the region for nursing cohort growth and new clinical facility agreements and campus BVNPT reporting.
- Support VP of Clinical Education Management’s objectives, policies, strategies, initiatives and goals for the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads their assigned region and clinical education management teams to acquire clinical education agreements that results in programmatic support and student education rotations and are consistent with applicable regulatory agency standards, annual department and organizational goals and company and/or college guidelines;
- Actively promotes the Company’s mission, vision and values and ensures employees incorporate these beliefs and values into their daily work ethic;
- Ensures relentless execution of regional strategic plans and implements policies set forth by the Clinical Education Management Department and Unitek Learnings benchmarks;
- Follows all relevant policies, processes, and procedures related to the acquisition of the clinical education agreements process and documentation, including all processes established by the legal and compliance team;
- Provides training, coaching, and mentoring to team members and new Clinical Education Specialists;
- Monitors and improves the region and relevant metrics; monitors CRM data and utilizes data for coaching and professional growth of team members;
- Partners with campus program teams for planning meetings for existing and new clinical education agreements required to meet student rotation needs and region growth;
- Manages and motivates departmental staff to ensure effective and efficient departmental performance, which includes training, and developing measurements and departmental goals;
- Contributes to design and implementation to existing clinical facility customer service campaigns and retention programs;
- Supports the region for attendance of clinical affiliate partners to Program Advisory Board Meetings and makes recommendations to Academic Committee;
- Maintains a positive and active relationship with clinical education facilities, and participates in the clinical and community partnership events;
- Works collaboratively with campus cross functional departments for reporting and events;
- Performs other projects and duties assigned
Key Success Factors:
- Meeting or exceeding the region monthly, quarterly, and annual productivity targets and clinical agreement acquisition goals
- Meeting or exceeding the region, program and campus-specific clinical agreement acquisition objectives
Qualifications
Experience:
- Management: 3 years (Preferred)
- Clinical Education Management: 3 years (Preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of combined Clinical Education and or Partnership Development and management experience, with over one year of management experience required in a multi-campus or program setting
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
- Effective problem resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook utilization to manage team priorities
- Ability to work effectively building and maintaining a team
- Good general business knowledge and ability to effectively supervise and lead a team of professionals
- Successful track record of clinical facility agreement acquisitions and clinical customer service relations
- Must be willing to travel within the assigned region.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Must be able to drive and have regular access to an automobile. Must have a current valid driver’s license and insurance.
