Position:

Food Server / Counter Attendant

Location:

West Palm Beach, Florida

Primary Purpose:

It is the primary responsibility of the Food Server to take and deliver customer orders and maintain guest satisfaction. The food server is also responsible for performing side work and general cleaning of the restaurant.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.

·         Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items.

·         Excellent listening skills to take customer order and secure payment correctly and efficiently.

·         Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, beverage station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) and third-party tablets.

·         Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.

·         Communicate with management and kitchen staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.

·         Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

PREFERRED:

• Experience working in a fast-casual setting a plus.
