As a VP of Operations, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of optimization of ongoing building operations and new building openings in multiple territories for Venture X. This operations leader will lead multiple functions including new building openings and will drive the success of all operational support for Community Management teams in the region. This leader will be accountable for setting and meeting aggressive performance KPIs and for all his/her functional budgets in Venture X. This position is responsible for driving profitability and managing the day to day aspects of Venture X Operations. It is essential to evaluate brand initiatives to implement any operational changes for success. This position provides leadership and coordination in the strategic planning, business process, and operational costs of the brand as well as implementing growth effective measures for United Franchise Group. The VP of Operations is responsible for providing guidance in the operations to match the brands vision and goals.

Your Key Responsibilities 

Specific duties for this operations leadership role include:

  • Manage the activities and results for VTX of various departments within the organization.
  • Interact with sales, operations, support, and logistics departments within United Franchise Group.
  • Provides on-going support to improve store sales processes, customer service and profitability.
  • Manage legal & compliance issues relative to building operations to ensure Venture X is operating within compliance of all local applicable laws.

  • Help influence and educate the communities ability to run operationally excellent buildings.
  • Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with board members, organization officials, or staff members.
  • Direct administrative activities directly related to making products or providing services.
  • Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
  • Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation.
  • Plan or direct activities such as sales promotions that require coordination with other department managers.
  • Develop or implement product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions.
  • Manages the brand’s staff for production and development.

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for this business development role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education from College or Technical school

OR 10 or more years of related experience and/or training

OR equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in hospitality, property management or other relative field
  • Communicates initiatives clearly to different audiences
  • Ability to develop measurements (KPI’s)
  • Experience opening new business units, including hotels, commercial properties, etc.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office products
  • Deep understanding of building financials in order to continually optimize vendor and team performance
  • Experience managing teams located in multiple markets
  • A true leader. One who can inspire others to take action and be their best
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience presenting to executive level stakeholders to receive the necessary resources for success
  • Knowledge in IT infrastructure a plus
  • Multiple languages a plus
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English
