Franchise Field Support - Signarama

The United Franchise Group operates well-known brands such as Signarama, Fully Promoted (formerly known as EmbroidMe) and Experimax both internationally and across the domestic U.S.

Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity now exists for a number of Operations Advisors to join our team based in the Southeast. The primary purpose of the role is to support, lead, develop and coach Franchise Partners.

Utilizing UFG corporate programs and Local Area Marketing initiatives, you will work to improve the performance of every franchisee business and drive new customer acquisition within the region. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a driven, results focused individual.

The successful candidate will work closely with the UFG leadership team. This is not a 9 to 5 job, flexibility is therefore required around hours worked to deliver the right results. Most importantly, you will need to dig in and do what is required to get the job done.

The ideal candidate will have prior franchising experience as well as strong sales and communication skills.  

Prior experience in Signage is required.

Spending most of your time working in the field you will be heavily involved with hands-on production and software expertise, as well as supporting our stores analyse and manage profitability.

    To be considered for this role you will need to display the following:

    • A strong Sales/Business Training background
    • An ability to implement, manage and deliver Sales/Operational strategies and improve the overall support objectives of the franchise
    • Excellent people management skills with the ability to build strong relationships as the "go to" person for the Franchisees
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel at least 75% both interstate and locally
    • Resilient and capable of handling difficult conversations
    • Previous experience in franchise or similar industry

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Provide leadership and ongoing support to franchisees, to help grow their business and increase profitability
    • Provide advice in areas including customer service, sales, marketing, staffing, retail excellence, business planning, business coaching and business reporting
    • Conduct effective regional training & development workshops for Franchise Partners
    • Motivate franchisees to implement Local Area Marketing initiatives
    • Provide franchisees with the necessary tools, skills and information to confidently contact customers and deliver targeted results
    • Implement a business plan with each franchisee
    • Manage franchisee compliance

    Key Personal Attributes include:

    • High level leadership and team building skills
    • Advanced communication skills (verbal & written)
    • Ability to execute operational working procedures and protocols in line with company standards
    • Some financial management experience / expertise
    • Computer / systems / technology savvy (including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • 2+ years' experience in a similar role
