We are currently recruiting a Sports Tutor to join a dynamic and forward thinking training provider to work on their Study Programme Tutor role which will be based in East London.

This provider has experienced organic growth and has become a leader in their field. As a Sports Trainer / Assessor you will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £28,000. The main purpose of the Sports Lecturer will be to deliver and teach BTECH and NVQ's up to level 3 in sports related qualifications ensuring a quality learning journey for all learners.

Key Duties of the Tutor / Lecturer

• Deliver and teach Level 3 Diploma in Sport qualifications
• Assure the quality of educational delivery and maintain standards set
• Take responsibility to develop, deliver and maintain a high-quality sport related sport education programme to young adults
• Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans and schemes of work
• Assess learners work on online platform and provide feedback to learners
• You will be responsible for creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment
• To be able to work within the agreed BTECH Education timetable
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, supervise and motivate learners
• Attend student recruitment days

Experience/ Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification PTTLS or equivalent
• Hold a Functional skills qualification Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT
• Knowledge of Traineeships / Study Program
• Communication skills
• Time management skills
• Organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Ability to motivate and encourage learner participation

To be successful in this role you will have previously worked in the sports sector as a Trainer, Assessor, Tutor, Lecturer
